What is Mangal Dosha and truth about being born a Manglik?

Are your parents looking for a tree to which you got married before getting married to some suitable boy because you are Manglik and have Mangal Dosha in your horoscope or Kundli? So first you need to know that what is Mangal Dosha and how it can affect your married life.

What is Mangal Dosha?

Mangal Dosha is associates with the planet Mars (Mangal) which represents self-esteem, temperament, ego, and strife and if Mars is in the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house of the Vedic astrology Ascendant chart of a person the person is considered to be born as Manglik. All these houses represent different aspects of life, 1st house in astrology referred to as the House of Self, 2nd house is for material goods, contentment and mental peace is decide by 4th house, 7th house for marriage, 8TH house concerns about birth and death and 12th house corresponds to the native's inner self, ordeals underwent his whole life through, hidden enemies, and serious illnesses. Read on to know how Mars behaves in different houses.

  • If Mars is in 1st House of the Vedic astrology Ascendant chart then you can become short tempered but also make you very energetic.
  • If Mars is in 2nd House of the Vedic astrology Ascendant chart then person needs to control his speech
  • Mars in 4th House said that you should avoid rash driving, property disputes should be sorted friendly and never make your mother unhappy (but I think this should be followed by all not only by the person who had Mars in 4th house)
  • 7th House is the house of life partner and if you have Mars in this house then these people need some space and freedom. Give them space and all will be well. (But this is true for all relationships whether you have Mars in 7th house or not).
  • Mars in 8th House will make you work hard towards being healthy. Health troubles are indicated by this position which can be overcome by doing regular exercises and maintaining a good diet.
  • Placement of Mars in 12th house will make you impulsive which could result in loss or you could be defrauded. Means you need to be more alert and be sure that you are dealing with the right person.

Myths associated with Mangal Dosha

There are many myths associated with the Mangal Dosha like if a person born on Tuesday then he or she will be Manglik for sure but it is a not true. It is also believed that a Manglik should marry a Manglik only but it is also not true.

  • It is always suggested that you should marry a tree first then your husband so when you marry your groom it is will be consider as your second marriage which nullified all the bad effects or problems in your first marriage which is only a superstitious.
  • One more myth associated with Mangal Dosha is either your husband or his close relative will die that is completely untrue as no one can die just because you are Manglik.
  • It is also said that if a person is Manglik then his or her married life will never be successful and the marriage will end in a divorce but how can we forget that the success of marriage depends on you and your partner’s compatibility and understanding and being a Manglik is not going to determine the success or failure of your marriage.

Being a Manglik does mean that you cannot enjoy happy married life and successful life but it only the placement of Mars a planet in your Vedic astrology Ascendant chart. Many marriages are failed even after all the horoscopes matching rituals and astrological precautions whereas lots of marriages are successful (like mine) without the partners even matching their horoscopes.

It is also not true that a person can be successful or unsuccessful in his or her personal life like many successful people have some affect of Mars on them but at the same time people involved in terrorist activities or violence also have affect of Mars on them. So Mars has nothing do with your marriage, career or personal life you have to be direct your energy in the right direction which makes a good or a bad person.
